Alaska. Australia. New Zealand. Australia. Alaska.
It’s safe to say I got my fair share of flying in over the past few months.
I have to admit, I thought I had already written a blog for how the last part of my time in Australia and New Zealand went. I guess I was wrong. I was just too caught up in winter and forgot! Continue reading “There and Back Again: A Skiers Tale.”
Touching down in Australia after being away from home for almost two years was quite amazing. I arrived at 8:00am and my brother picked me up from the airport and took me straight to his place in the city. I just crashed for a few hours napping. Continue reading “Back Down Under”

For the last two weeks we have been based in Otepää, Estonia. The team has been recovering from our time in Korea and preparing for the last World Cup here before World Championships in Finland. Continue reading “Training in Estonia”
I’m finally on a plane, heading down south for my first racing trip. I was fortunate to leave Anchorage as the sun crested the mountains, bathing everything in a perfect pink alpen glow. It’s not often I get to fly in the morning and it was beautiful to see. Continue reading “On the road again.,”
Well winter’s gone off the reservation, it’s off-script again…
It showed such exciting promise for a cold and quality winter until we realised it was almost December and we are still waiting for winter to appear. Don’t get me wrong it’s been cold. Continue reading “When winter’s not quite on script.”
